What We Believe

SALVATION
Is by faith alone in Jesus Christ. Jesus is THE way not a way and faith in His sacrifice and resurrection is the basis for salvation according to the New Testament Scripture. This salvation comes only from the grace freely given to those who would accept this precious gift. (John 3:16, 14:6; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22). |

BAPTISM
Is the full obedience of the believer to God’s authority. It is our public confession and participation in the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. In this we find the Spirit imparted and the Heavens rejoice. (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16; Matthew 28:19-20; Rom 6) |
BIBLE
Is the authoritative and infallible Word of God. The Scriptures are God breathed and Spirit written. We believe the Bible is historical, literal and accurate. It is also the final authority in all matters of faith, no exceptions (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Proverbs 30:5; Romans 16:25-26).
TRINITY
Is the God Head, three individual persons making up the deity of Yahweh. Each has their specific purpose but all three are co-equal and co-eternal; all being all knowing, all powerful, and everywhere. (1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:1-3)

JESUS
The living Son of God; the word embodied in flesh. He left His heavenly dwelling to come down to man as the sacrifice once and for all sins. He was born of the virgin Mary, preached the word, lived a perfect life, died by way of the cross, was resurrected on the third day and now sits at the right hand of the Father. He is the Way, Truth and the Life for all would accept Him. (John 1:14, 19:28, 20:1-10; Luke 1:29-33; Matthew 4:17) |
