Jesus Prays for All Believers

I love this prayer that our Lord Jesus had for each of us. I think it tells us what his expectations are for us as we live our lives here on earth, today. Note the scriptures with my comment highlighted (like this). From John 17:20-26.
20 “My prayer (the prayer of Jesus for us) is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, (He is praying for each of us here today) 21 that all of them may be one, (He wants us all to live in unity with each other in agreement with each other) Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. (He wants each of us to have the type of relationship that God and Jesus have together) May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. (If we are in unity with each other and with our Heavenly Father and Jesus, then, those around us can believe in our Lord Jesus. We are supposed to set a good, positive, outward expression of our unity with each other.) 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—(Jesus restates the idea that He wants and expects us to live in unity as one with each other.) 23 I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. (Complete unity; in other words, no in fighting, complaining, or beating people up). Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. (If we as brothers and sisters in Christ will be in unity with each other, then, those around us will be more willing to join in with us to worship our Lord Jesus).
24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. (Our Lord Jesus wants us to be with Him and behave like Him).
25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. (We know that God sent his Son Jesus into this world.) 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” (Jesus prays that the love of the Father might be in each of us).
I receive this prayer and pray that each of us might live in unity and harmony with each other. Blessings to you all this week.
