Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do Everything in love. – 1 Cor 16:13-14.
Be ready, the world comes at me fast and I have to be ready. Just completing a sermon series on this, I feel as though some are still asleep in the faith. The world is changing more rapidly than we can keep up with. Morals are flying out the window and people are doing whatever is in their hearts to do.
There was a time like this in the past and a man named Noah built a boat so that he may be saved from God’s wrath. Now, God has sent His Son, Jesus, as the lifeboat and we must be prepared for what is to come. We must share the Gospel of Jesus and stand strong against the storms that are on the rise. We must have courage to stand on principle, when the nation around us flies in the face of God.
To do this I must be strong in the Word of God. I must have that firm relationship with Him. I have to know His ways and understand what He is doing and what His plans are for the future. This is how I will stand firm in faith and be strong for those who still need and want Christ in their lives. I will continue to win as many as I can through the Word of God.
I will not however, give in or concede ground. There is no compromise with the Lord. You are either with Him or against Him. Personally, I would rather stand with the creator of the universe, who spoke it into being that stand against Him. I would rather bathe in the beauty of His love and salvation that stand in the dark.
Take the stand today, be strong and courageous for the Lord. Share the joy of the Gospel with someone today. See what the Lord can do, test His message for the people and see if it doesn’t change hearts. And above all, love! Be ready to love, this means doing what’s in someone’s best interest and never is that found in anger, hate or unrest. But it is found in joy, forgiveness and peace. Let us go out in love and stand strong for the Lord.
To God Be The Glory,
